National Chemical Safety Week™
There are chemical hazards that exist in your environment, some of which you are exposed to on a daily basic. It only takes a series of simple and unfortunate events to take place that could have been easily avoided, for the worst to happen to you or your children.
What is the aim of chemical safety week?
The focus of the week is to raise your awareness to alarming chemical hazards that are likely to affect you or your children. If we can, we focus on protecting children that are at risk as a priority. Although we focus on one major hazard per day during the week, the intention is to grab your attention and build trust with you so that I can offer you further support on many other hazards and during the lifetime of our relationship, guide you to a safer future for you, your children and your family.
Here are some of the things involved in the week
Promotion of the safety song "Under your kitchen sink" to raise awareness through radio stations
Cool competitions for businesses to involve their employees in to stimulate interest in making their homes safer, and also their workplaces!
Merchandise such as posters and t-shirts promoting the major hazard I have chosen to make you aware of and the charity I am raising funding for
Downloadable safety material to help make your home and your workplace safer
A drive for sponsorship and donations towards my charity to improve chemical awareness is education
